Auswide Bank began as a regional building society and today, our roots remain firmly planted in local communities and their people.
Helping people, organisations and community groups achieve their goals is why we do what we do. That's why we support many local activities, organisations, projects and events with in-kind support and sponsorship through 'Our Community' Grants Scheme.
The projects we have supported to date span across many community, cultural and sporting interests including Queensland Young Achievers Awards, Northern District Rugby League, Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal and All Ability Balls across Queensland, just to name a few.
The 'Auswide Bank Community' Grants Scheme is available to eligible organisations and projects big or small. We provide grant funding for charitable or benevolent purposes which must be for a non-for-profit organisation or local government authority.
Grants are available for a range of projects including community services, celebrations, buildings, public spaces, facilities and events.
We also provide in-kind support for various events and projects. In-kind support can take many forms including signage, marquee hire, or even having our very own Ziggy the Piggy attend your event!

Our finance expert first discovered Auswide Bank in early 2016 when he used an Auswide Bank low rate Personal Loan to finance his dream car. Disenchanted by his experiences at other banks, he’s now committed to providing everyday Australians with tips he’s learned from Auswide Bank to ensure that they too can realise their dreams. You might have seen our finance expert on a TV near you. Stay tuned for the next instalment of his financial journey in 2017.
